The goal of the membership committee is to recruit an informed, active, and engaged body of members. The committee collects membership dues, distributes membership cards, and maintains a current membership list. This committee is chaired by one person, in partnership with the Treasurer. 

Hospitality (Sub-Committee): The goal of the hospitality committee is to develop a spirit of friendliness among the members of the PTA and others who attend its meetings. The committee provides refreshments for PTA meetings, staff appreciation lunches, and special school activities.

After consultation with the PTA board of directors and school staff and administration; the Events Committee will help plan and execute at least three, PTA sponsored events during the school year. They include but are not limited to Fall Festival, Spring Family Dances, and the End-of-the-Year Bash. The committee conducts all aspects of event planning including activity and vendor management and volunteer recruitment. Designated members work to promote the events including the creation of announcements and graphics and the collaboration with the Fundraising Committee for sponsorship. This committee is chaired by three people. 

Teacher Appreciation (Sub-Committee) 

The Teacher Appreciation Committee supports and celebrates our educators and administration by hosting Teacher Appreciation Week in May, as well as at least one other breakfast during the school year (typically prior to Winter Break). This year, we will include the Centennial PTA Monthly Coffee/Tea Cart which delivers warm beverages to teachers, in their classrooms. This committee works in collaboration with our CA Family Parent Liaison to place and train Room Parents in each classroom..  

Wellness & Garden (Sub-Committee) 

This committee supports initiatives that are staff-led, including Wellness Wednesdays, Campus Clean-up, Earth Day, and whole-person care. The committee also assists in maintaining campus gardens and hosts tastings for the harvested fruits and vegetables to encourage the consumption of fresh, healthy food, but also to educate our scholars about the origin of food.

The committee is a broad representation of support throughout the entire school community. This committee coordinates volunteers for PTA-sponsored activities as well as school activities, upon request. Committee members will contact volunteers to request assistance in various areas such as morning carpool, CA Dads, testing support, lunch duty monitors, hall monitors, and other areas (as needed). This committee is chaired by three people, with representation from each academy.
