PTA Fall FUNdraiser

 

The PTA Fall FUNdraiser ends THIS FRIDAY, September 8. Please turn in all COMPLETED packets to Ron Stanberry who will be in the carpool lane in the morning. Once received, the PTA will generate a receipt to your child's HR Teacher next week, so please make sure ALL information is on the form. We THANK YOU for your support! ~ PTA Fundraising Committee
 

Grandparent's Day

Georgia Aquarium and Kaiser-Permanente want to treat Grandparents with half price admission on Sunday, Sunday 10 in honor of Grandparents Day! Grady Cluster Principals' Forum

Don't miss the annual Grady Cluster Principals' Forum on Wednesday, September 13 from 12:00 pm  to 1:30 pm at Springdale Park Elementary School. This annual event gives current and prospective Grady cluster parents an opportunity to hear our principals' insights into their schools' successes and challenges and find out how they are working collaboratively to provide a continuum of high-quality K-12 education for the 6,500 students in our cluster. Sid the Science Kid

 

This thrilling new traveling exhibit brings the award-winning PBS KIDS TV series to life at the Children's Museum. Kids will be able to step into Sid's world and become "science kids" themselves as they discover and investigate everyday science questions. Sid the Science Kid: The Super-Duper Exhibit will be on display from September 16, 2017 - January 15, 2018. 
 

Better Outcomes for Our Kids (B.O.O.K.)
Parents, educators, school and community leaders are invited to learn from each other and identify strategies at the Better Outcomes for Our Kids (B.O.O.K.) Education Summit on Saturday, September 16 from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. The B.O.O.K. Education Summit will be an engaging and informative conference that provides parents of school-age children with valuable information on school choice options for their children while empowering them to positively impact their neighborhood schools and ensure they are excellent institutions of learning for all children. Georgia S.T.E.M. Con
Georgia S.T.E.M. Con is an opportunity to share with the community what a dynamic career in S.T.E.M. has to offer. It will be held Saturday, September 23 at Georgia Tech Research Institute's Conference Center from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. We are bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and industry leaders to present their work in hopes of influencing NextGen to engage in S.T.E.M. This event is FREE and open to the public.
