Council of Intown Neighborhoods and Schools (CINS)

History

The Council of Intown Neighborhoods and Schools (CINS), founded in 1978, represents a cluster of eight Atlanta Public Schools, all located within Atlanta intown neighborhoods. CINS includes Hope-Hill Elementary, Mary Lin Elementary, Morningside Elementary, Springdale Park Elementary, Inman Middle School, Centennial Academy, Kindezi O4W, and Grady High School.

Mission

CINS' mission is to work with Atlanta Public Schools to foster the development of safe, quality education, in the Grady Cluster of Schools. To meet this goal, CINS conducts monthly meetings of parents, school administrators, and Board of Education members to explore resources, identify critical issues, and seek solutions to problems.
